Sara True is a painter and poet. Her poetry chronicles the sensual/ romantic adventures that demarcate chapters of her life. She is an amateur philosopher, an expert ice cream scooper, and lives next to a centenarian fig tree, where she occasionally watches birds with her landlady. She listens to jazz, paints to French music, and dances to whatever moves her. She has been writing since before she could write, dictating poems and stories for her beleaguered Mom and Dad to record. She grew up in Los Angeles in a house near the sea. She likes the idea of drinking wine. She was once described as a creature of sea and sand, ocean and desert. Her life dream is to own a B & B, where she will raise chickens, bake elaborate breakfasts for fascinating international guests, and host open mic nights and funk dance parties. She is a big fan of mother earth.
